5:00 pm - Temple Worker's Devotional at  YSA Stake Center building at 1550 South 1100 West, Lehi. 

Note: When God was creating the world, He did not wait until it was finished to say, "It is good" but he said it along the way, except after he had created Adam, the first man, he said it is not good, "It is not good that man should be alone". And he took a rib from Adam's side and made a helpmate, Eve, and commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth.                            God did not make women to be second-class, but women and people of different races and the poor have been looked down on.                                    I heard a story this morning about a young, poor black girl in rural Mississippi.  Her mother was a maid, her grandmother was a maid, her grandmother's mother was a maid, and her mother's mother was a slave.  The little black girl's grandmother told her one day, "I hope someday you find a good white family like mine to work for."  The voices of those around me told me I was poor, colored, and female .....but God had another vision for me.  That little girl was Oprah Winfrey.  Her net worth today, 2926, is 3.2 billion dollars.

Had dinner with Elder & Sister Midleton and Stk. Pres. & wives. Spoke in  evening session & Stk. Pres. wives were asked to speak, Bear testimony – Patt did a beautiful job. She in a source of great joy to me. Got home and took Megan Pela home and filled both cars up gas. Got to bed a few minutes after 12:00.

I was up at 7:30 am, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got dressed.  Debbie got up, and we had prayer together. Afterwards, she got ready and attended Sacrament, then Relief Society and Priesthood.   When we got home Debbe took some presents etc., over to Laura's.  When she got home we drove over to the Temple Devotional at the Young Single Adult Stake Center. There are two full-sized buildings next to each other.  Elder Rasband, the Seventy, and his wife and the Saratoga SpringsTemple President  Lon William Sorensen, with his wife Marie Ellen Hardy Sorensen.  On way home we took Patrick's Christmas present to him that came in the mail late.  He and Anndalyn just got back from Hawaii this morning.  We got home, and Michael brought dinner, Ribolita, an Italian peasant soup,  he made with sourdough bread.  He took the rest to a sick friend somewhere near here.  After dinner Debbie and I had prayer.  I called and talked to Beth, Rae Lynn, and Matthew.  We got to bed at about 11:00 pm.
