27 Feb 2026, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task 5:10 am Debbie subbing at temple for Lisa Pickup 2025 journal and Notes pickup Blister Mites spray for pear trees before the first blossoms open pickup Permetlain and Liquicop Fungicide after blossoms have fallen Debbie was up early and went to the temple early. She was there at about 5:00 am.  I woke at about 6:00am and went to the temple as a patron.  I attended the 7:30 am endowment session as a patron for Fred Applegate, one of Debbie's ancestors born the same year as mother, 1913.  On the way home, I stopped at Alpha Graphics and picked up my printed hardcover 2025 journal, another copy of my WCSM 1968-1970 mission journal, and some copies of my notes and thoughts, a book for family.   Last year, Debbie gave me her thoughts and quotes, and I had a copy for each family.  Debbie got home from the temple and ate brunch.  I called Laurie Schmidt again.  She got back with me this afternoon and sent ...

26 Feb 2026, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task 5:10 am 1st Shift Saratoga Springs Temple Up at 2:30 am, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got ready for the temple.  Jody came and spent the night with us last night.  Debbie put clean sheets on the bed downstairs before she went to bed.   Debbie and I got to the temple at about 4:50 am.  I worked the front recommend desk for the temple workers and early patrons to enter.  A temple worker, Brett Knapp, talked to me today. His wife's grandfather was named James McAlpin.  He lived in Michigan. Debbie and I got home and made lunch for us.  After lunch, I washed the pot and put the dishes in the dishwasher.  Debbie took a nap.  I worked on the nursing homes and on proofreading and editing my 1988 journal.   Debbie and I had prayer, and she went to bed at about 11:30 pm. 19 Feb 2026, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task 5:10 am - 1st shift Saratoga Springs Temple Elder Ethan Hobbs and his mother, Rae Lynn, tried to 3-way me on his preparation day phone call.  I could see but could not hear. 13 Feb 2026, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task 3:00 pm - Debbie's dentist appointment Matthew called this morning at 7:30 am.  I was sound asleep, but had my 8 hours plus sleep last night.  I was tired from the last two nights; the night before last I only got 3.5 hours of sleep. When I was in my late teens and early 20s, I stayed up 36, 48 hours, and longer without any sleep.  I can't do that now.  I had my personal prayer and talked to Matthew.  I tried calling Karen Forrister, CEO, and left her a message to call me back.  I called Jan Morris, the owner, and left her a message.  She called me back.  We had a good visit.  I suggested taking the difference of about $20,000 rent from Floyd Nursing Home and putting it with Gateway's rent, so it is not under the table.  I also had the opportunity to tell her how James Morris, Wayne Abercrombie, and I came to be partners in Floyd Nursing Home.   I provided the CON from Valley Vie...
