Prioritized Daily Task

12:00 noon - Lehi 7th Ward - offer opening in Sacrament meeting

Break our fast

Up at 7 am, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got ready to go with Debbie to Abbington Memory Center at 10:30 am.  When Debbie got up we had prayer, and she got ready.  Debbie led the music.  I did not see any patients or residents from the time we served here but on of the aid that work recognized us.  Afterwards we came home for a few minutes and then we attended Church at Lehi 7th Ward, fast, and testimony meeting today.  After Sacrament, we attended Sunday School.  We came home and in the evening we broke our fast for the poor and needy as our stake president asks us to.  Debbie and I had prayer and got to bed at about 10:00 pm.

Opposition is necessary for growth - an example,  an unhatched baby chick has to break or crack out from inside the egg shell if it is to have a chance in the world outside the egg shell.

Much of my life and experiences are like the hard eggshell for us.  Just remember that when it comes to public opinion, public opinion is often an empty well.

Note:  Andrew, do you remember what I told you about birthdays? “Everyday is your birthday when we get together”, and today we are together.  This is your birthday as much as February 2nd is. 

You are very special to everyone who knows you, especially your Father in Heaven and Jesus.

You need to prepare yourself every day for the future.  We hope you are called on a mission and these scriptures are to prepare you for that time.  Always be prepared, spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. 

We love you, and you are in our prayers every day.
