Up at 7 am, prayer, showered, shaved, studied, Debbie and I had prayer together, and got ready for church at 12:00 Noon, Lwhi 7th Ward. Debbie stayed up late last night making a poster to welcome Elder Casey Neilsons home from his mission in Africa. He had to come home a couple of months or so early because of an intestinal infection that caused him to lose about 30% of his body weight, and the doctors there can not learn what is causing the infection. Debbie and I attended the Sacrament meeting, and left 15 minutes before Priesthood and Relief Society Meetings ended to drive up to the SLC International Airport to meet Kylie and her family, and Elder Casey Binion, his family, and friends. He is coming home from his mission in Africa. He is sick, and the doctors in Africa can not help him. The church doctor who is over the missionaries in that part of the world told his mission president that Elder Neilson needs to be sent back to the United States, where he can get the medical help he needs. Everyone was happy to see him. He is a fine, outstanding young man. Debbie gave out invitations to Marlissa's wedding shower. On the way home, we stopped at Pat and Anndalyn's. Anndalyn is hosting the shower. We got home, and Debbie prepared a nice meal, and then went to the Relief Society Devotional Broadcast. Note: I listened to the podcast Scripture Central, Old Testament: Josiah, the boy king who would not bend. Two generations later, the seeds he planted in the hearts of the people started bearing fruit. Faithfulness is never wasted. God has spoken, and His words matter. Seek the Lord with your whole heart. Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed at about 10:00 pm.
