Born in Revolution. Tested by History.
250 Years of Freedom — and the Battle to Keep and Never Lose.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, a small band of patriots did something the world considered impossible.
They challenged the most powerful empire on Earth and declared that liberty does not derive from kings, governments, or ruling elites, but from God Himself.
What followed was not simply a revolution.
It was the birth of an idea unlike any the world had ever seen.
An idea that ordinary people could — must — govern themselves.
That freedom was worth fighting for.
That future generations deserved something greater than fear, tyranny, and submission.
That those generations should not be subjects, but that they should be free men to choose for themselves whom they would serve, God or man.
Slept in until 8 am, had personal prayer and prayer with Debbie. Gave Ava her medicine after letting the dogs go out in side yard. I fed them. Showered and shaved before brunch at noon. Jennifer Hibbert texted me that her dad, Charlie Hibbert, will be on Friday, 10th July, from noon to 4 pm. I got a Delta flight July 9-14 and a car rental at the Atlanta Airport. 'My Booking' at EconomyCarRentals.com and check the status of your booking by using your e-mail address lenmcalpin@gmail.com and request number (EC2F12F9). I called and talked to Max. Debbie, Max's wife, is going into the clinic on July 13th, and Max has to be in the temple on the 14th. I sent a text out to the children about the family get-together for Thanksgiving in 2026 and 2027. The tie-dyed T-shirts Bella and Ava made turned out great, and they were wearing them today. The red, white, and blue red velvet cupcakes the girls made with sparklers turned out great. Debbie has made this trip special for them. Bella and Ava wanted to watch a movie in the theater room, but they did not last long. The girls, Debbie, and I all had family prayer together before Ava took her medicine, and fed the dogs and put them in their cage. There are a lot of ants in the laundry room where the dogs' food is kept. I texted Matthew to find out where he keeps the ant poison. Debbie and I had prayer together and went to bed at about midnight.
