Debbie and I were up at about 7:00am, had prayer, and brought up two large plastic commercial containers of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I brought up fresh vegetables from the refrigerator downstairs. Debbie made vegetable trays for Tylee's welcome home party after church, 1515 W 400 N, Lehi today. Jared came over and picked up the ice cream. Debbie called Laura, and she is going to bring white tablecloths for Tylee's party. Debbi4 cooked the Blueberry Casserole, similar to her German French Toast. At about 11:30am, we drove to the Sage Vista Ward and met Abby, Carter, and Mackay. We attended their sacrament meeting. Tylee spoke and told stories and experiences of her mission. The Lord was with her and blessed her. Bishop Kaleb Mangum gave her her plaques that had been hanging in the foyer for almost 18 months. Note: The bishop was new when Tylee left for her mission, and she is the first one to return. He told a story about her brothers. Shortly after Tylee left, the ward held a youth baptism service at the Saratoga Springs Temple. Porter was riding with some of the other youth, and the bishop asked him how he was doing since his sister had left. Porter said, "Not great, but okay." When the baptism appointment was over, the bishop went over to the recorder and checked the names that Porter had done the baptisms for. Because the language was in Dutch, Bishop Mangem was interested in where the people had lived. All the people were from the Netherlands and Amsterdam, where Tylee was serving her mission. Later in the day, Tate went to the temple doing youth baptisms and had the same experience. All of his names were in Dutch, and the people were from Amsterdam and the Netherlands. Later this year, when Max turned twelve, he went to the temple to do youth baptisms. He wanted to have the same experience as his older brother, and he had the same experience with the names that he was doing baptisms for. They were all in Dutch and were from the Netherlands and Amsterdam. That is too much to be a coincidence. The Lord loves that family and is blessing them. Tylee had a souter, Van Gijsgl, from Belgium who came today. He is a counselor in the Gent Ward. Leander is visiting his grandfather who lives in Provo. Leander's younger brother came with him. He was at the party today. We helped clean the basketball gym. The Grams let Jared and Jami use it to host the party for Tylee's return home. The Grams are friends of the family. The children are all close. We got home, and Abby and Alex came over. They are getting married, and the reception is on March 12-13. Jody came by and is spending the night with us. Matthew, Beth, Rae Lynn, and family are at Reg and Patt's this afternoon for her 75th birthday. I tried calling Michael; no answer. I left a message. He may be out of the country. I studied scriptures and got ready for the week. Debbie rode with Jody over to Laua's for Jody to borrow a bicycle for the race Jody and some of her family are in, which is coming up soon. Elain called and she is going to visit with Blake, Ryan, and the children at their place in Canada. I talked to her again about getting her personal history written and tell Blake to help and stay after you until you get it written for your children, grandchildren, and all those whom the Lord will send to be your descendants. Debbie and Jody got home from Laura's. We had prayer and got to bed at about 10:30pm.
